Family and Carer’s Support
When someone you love is struggling with addiction or alcohol dependency, it can feel overwhelming, isolating, and difficult to know where to turn. At The Well Communities, we believe that families and loved ones need support too.
Our family support service provides a safe, and compassionate space where you can connect with others who truly understand the challenges you may be facing. We offer daily telephone support, a WhatsApp support community, weekly face-to-face meetings, and an online Zoom group, and also offering ongoing encouragement, connection, and hope.
Together, we explore a greater understanding of addiction and its impact on family life, while learning practical tools such as setting healthy boundaries, practising detachment with love, and prioritising your own wellbeing. We also encourage and signpost mutual aid support through organisations such as Al-Anon and Nar-Anon, helping you build a wider network of support.
You don’t have to face this journey alone. Whether you’re seeking guidance, understanding, or simply someone to listen, we’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Because recovery is not just for the individual, it’s for families too.
