DH Runners Take on 24-Hour Relay Challenge for The Well Communities

This weekend, the incredible team at DH Runners embarked on an inspiring challenge, a continuous 24-hour 5K relay, keeping the baton moving around the clock as runners take turns completing loop after loop throughout the day and night.

The event is raising vital funds for The Well Communities, DH Runners’ chosen Charity of the Year, and we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and dedication.

Earlier today, some of our residents and staff joined the challenge, completing a loop alongside the runners and experiencing first-hand the energy, encouragement and community spirit that has made this event so special. As the relay continues through the night, participants will show remarkable resilience, determination and teamwork, all in support of a shared cause.

DH Runners have been much more than fundraisers for The Well Communities. Over the past year, they have welcomed many of our residents into their running club, creating opportunities for connection, and improved wellbeing. The positive impact has been significant, with residents reporting increased confidence, better physical and mental wellbeing, and a genuine sense of belonging within a supportive community.

The 24-hour relay challenge is a powerful example of what can be achieved when people come together with a common purpose. It reflects the values that both DH Runners and The Well Communities hold close, building connections and supporting one another..

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in organising and taking part in this event, and to every runner giving their time, effort and energy over the full 24 hours. Your commitment makes a real difference.

Good luck to everyone still out on the course, we’re cheering you on every step of the way.
